This manuscript, the second of a two-part series, shows how discrete-time circuital model loudspeakers, which is extensively analyzed in first part, can be exploited to develop method for loudspeaker virtualization. used alter behavior physical such way match that target loudspeaker. Examples applications include equalization or linearization. The characterized by structure called Direct-Inverse-Direct Chain, composed three blocks: digital loudspeaker; inverse and derived from equivalent circuit direct system using two-port element known theory as “nullor”. We show this efficiently implemented domain with no iterative solvers exploiting Wave Digital Filter principles. proposed virtualization algorithm tested both through simulations real loudspeakers. In particular, we reduce distortion transducer output pressure signal, it make sound like desired nonlinear behavior.
